Calculate free space
Safe ways to review storage
- Use Settings › System › Storage to see major categories.
- Review Downloads and large personal files manually.
- Uninstall apps you no longer use.
- Move photos/videos to another backed-up location when appropriate.
Do not delete unknown files from Windows, Program Files or System32 just to recover space.
