The site begins with the user’s problem, not with a product pitch. We separate performance, Windows Update, drivers, printers, networking, services and error-code issues because they require different troubleshooting paths.
What the browser tools do
Tools on this site use information you enter to calculate or display guidance in your browser. They are not remote-control software and do not scan your computer unless a future tool explicitly says otherwise and asks for permission.
Commercial relationship
HelixOnePC software may be recommended on pages where general maintenance, startup or cleanup is relevant. Hardware-specific and driver-specific problems are directed toward the appropriate Windows or manufacturer support path instead.
